PERA is built on the foundations of IAP2’s planning principles and processes.
The questions are designed to formulate a detailed assessment of your project. It will help you figure out if there is a role for public engagement in your project and, if so, key considerations to help you engage efficiently and effectively.
PERA will:
assess the current state of your project including available resources
consider the potential impact of your project on the organization, public and community
rationalize whether or not there is a role for engagement and, if so, what level of engagement would make the most sense
identify key considerations to support next steps
